Family Feud questions and answers
Here are 100 Family Feud questions with answers, written in the survey style of the show: "name something" questions with four to seven ranked answers and points for each. They are sorted into seven rounds for adults, from everyday life and food to dating, nights out, Christmas and a spicy 18+ round.
The board needs JavaScript. All 100 questions and their answers are listed below, so you can also host from the list.
The points are our own estimate of how 100 people would answer, not a real survey. Tap a slot when someone guesses that answer.
The board below plays them like the show. Pick the rounds, split into two teams, and tap the hidden slots to reveal answers as people guess them. Strikes, round points and the score are counted for you.

How to play Family Feud at home
You need one host and two teams of two to six. The host reads the question and runs the board above, or reads the answers from the list. These are the rules of the TV show, simplified for a living room.
- Face offOne player from each team stands at the front. The host reads the question, and the first to slap the table answers. If their answer is the top one, their team takes control. If not, the other player answers, and the higher answer wins control.
- Play or passThe team with control decides to play the question themselves or pass it to the other team.
- Guess the boardThe playing team answers one player at a time, going down the line. Every answer on the board is revealed and its points go into the round pot. A wrong answer is a strike.
- Three strikes and the stealAfter three strikes, the other team gets one guess together. If it is on the board, they steal the whole pot. If not, the pot goes to the team that played.
- Score and repeatOn the show, later rounds count double and triple. At home, play to 300 points, or a fixed number of questions, and the winning team goes to fast money.
Fast money
Two players from the winning team play. The first gets 20 seconds to answer five quick questions while the second waits out of earshot. Then the second gets 25 seconds for the same five questions, and has to give a different answer whenever they repeat their teammate's. Add up the points of both players: 200 or more wins.
| On the show | Party version | |
|---|---|---|
| Teams | Two families of five | Two teams of any size |
| Winning score | First to 300 points | 300 points, or after 8 to 10 questions |
| Points | Single, double and triple rounds | Double the last two questions |
| Fast money | 20 and 25 seconds, 200 points to win | Same, with the sets above |
| Buzzer | A real buzzer | Slap the table, or a spoon on a glass |
Game show night on everyone's phone
In Dronk's The Quiz, the host shares a 4 digit pin code, up to 16 players join from their own phones and answer at the same time. The fastest correct answer scores most, and a podium crowns the winner.

How to make your own Family Feud questions
Homemade questions about your own group are the best part of a party Feud. The trick is a real mini survey.
- Ask "name something" questions. Open questions with many possible answers work. Yes or no questions and questions with one right answer don't.
- Survey before the party. Send five questions to a group chat or to colleagues who aren't playing, and ask for quick first answers. Twenty replies is enough.
- Turn replies into points. Group answers that mean the same thing, count them, and keep the top five or six. If 7 of 20 people said Keys, that is 35 points.
- Write about the group. "Name something Sarah always brings to a party" or "Name a word the boss says in every meeting" is funnier than anything on TV.
- Check the total. The points on a board should add up to 100 or a little less, because some answers were too rare to make the board.
Questions people ask
What are good Family Feud questions?
Open "name something" questions that everyone has an opinion on, like "Name something people lose all the time" or "Name a red flag on a first date". This page has 100 of them with ranked answers and points.
Are these the real Family Feud survey answers?
No. The points are our own estimate of how 100 adults would answer, written for playing at home. They are not taken from the show, which is a TV format we are not connected to.
How do you play Family Feud at a party?
Split into two teams and pick a host. Each question starts with a face off, the winning team plays or passes, answers until they clear the board or get three strikes, and the other team can steal. First to 300 points wins.
How does fast money work?
Two players answer the same five questions, the first in 20 seconds and the second in 25 seconds without repeating an answer. If their points add up to 200 or more, they win.
Do you have Christmas Family Feud questions?
Yes. Round 6 has 15 Christmas and holiday questions, from what goes on the tree to the present nobody wants.
How many questions do you need for a game?
Eight to ten questions plus a fast money round fill about 45 minutes with two teams.
Keep the night going
