01 — DefinitionWhat is Most Likely To?

Most Likely To (sometimes "Who's Most Likely To" or "Paranoia" in its whispered variant) is a party game with one question shape: who in this group is most likely to do a specific thing? "Who's most likely to get famous for something embarrassing?" Everyone points at the same time, and the person with the most fingers on them takes the penalty.

It works because it's a game about reputation. You don't answer for yourself, your friends answer for you, and the reveal is a small public verdict on who you are. Half the fun is the pointing; the other half is the 30 seconds of "no, it's absolutely you" that follows. It scales better than almost any other question game, because more players means a more decisive vote.

In the Dronk app the mode is called Most Likely To, tagline "Point, penalty, pass it on." The Danish version of the same mode is Mest tilbøjelig til.

02 — RulesHow to play Most Likely To (with a phone or without)

Two screens on one phone, no scoring. Around a table you count fingers; in a LIVE room the app counts the votes (shown further down).

  1. The Most Likely To setup screen: One phone selected next to LIVE, a Got a game pin? Join the game row, and the pack list with The Classics checked, Funny and Crazy locked, above a Play button
    1

Choose how you play and pick a pack

Tap One phone to pass it around, or LIVE to vote from everyone's phones. Then pick a pack: The Classics is free; Funny, Crazy and Spicy unlock with Premium. Agree on the penalty, then tap Play.

  2. A Most Likely To question card: Who's most likely to win karaoke night, without being able to sing? with the hint Pass the phone to whoever you point at and a Next button
    2

Read the card, everyone points, pass the phone

“Who's most likely to win karaoke night, without being able to sing?” Read it out loud, count to three and everyone points. The person with the most fingers takes the penalty and gets the phone: “Pass the phone to whoever you point at”, then they tap Next and read the next card. No app? Read straight from the list below.

House rule worth trying

Let the person who got voted nominate one "accuser" to explain why. If the explanation gets a laugh from the room, the accuser is off the hook. If it gets silence, the accuser takes the penalty too.

03 — The listAll 120 most likely to questions, by pack

04 — LIVEMost Likely To LIVE: voting from everyone's phone

Pointing works until the group gets big enough that nobody can count the fingers. That's where Dronk LIVE takes over. It was the first LIVE game in the app, and it's still the one that fills a room fastest.

  • The host creates a room in the app and gets a 4-digit pin code.
  • Everyone joins from their own iPhone by typing the pin. Joining is always free, and guests don't need an account.
  • Each question appears on every phone at the same time. Everyone votes for a player on their own screen, secretly.
  • The reveal shows up on every phone: the full breakdown of who voted for whom, and who takes the penalty.
  • Up to 16 players per room. Premium packs are unlocked for the whole room if the host has Premium.

Most Likely To LIVE, screen by screen

  1. Most Likely To LIVE voting: the question Who's most likely to win karaoke night, without being able to sing? above Vote anonymously for someone, the players Olivia (you), Jake, Mia and Tyler, the counter 1/4 have voted and a Reveal now button
    1

Everyone votes on their own phone

The question lands on every phone with the players in the room listed underneath: Olivia (you), Jake, Mia, Tyler. Vote anonymously for someone. The counter shows “1/4 have voted”; the host can tap Reveal now instead of waiting for the last vote.

  2. Most Likely To LIVE result: a podium with Jake on top with 3 votes and Mia with 1 vote, the text Penalty for Jake! and a Next round button
    2

    The reveal: podium and penalty

Jake, 3 votes. Mia, 1 vote. The podium shows exactly how the room voted, and “Penalty for Jake!” settles it with no arguing about who was pointing at whom. Tap Next round for the next card.

Secret voting changes the game. With fingers, people follow the crowd. On a phone, everyone votes what they actually think, and the reveal is a lot more honest, and a lot funnier.

05 — TipsHow to make most likely to actually fun

Read the packs as an escalation

The Classics is about personality, Funny is about clumsiness, Crazy is about impulse control, and Spicy is about secrets. Each step up requires more shared history. A group that met tonight should stay in The Classics and Funny. A group that has shared an apartment can go straight to Spicy.

The person who gets pointed at gets 20 seconds to defend themselves

The vote is the setup. The defense is the game. "I have never once clapped when a plane landed" is a lie, and everyone knows it, and that's the fun part. Keep it short, keep it moving.

Set the penalty before the first card

Dronk never defines the penalty, and it shouldn't be renegotiated mid-game. A good default: the person who got voted does something the room picks, within reason. Some Spicy cards are heavy enough that a lighter penalty is the kind move.

Why it's better than "who would"

"Who would" asks for a hypothetical. "Who's most likely to" asks for a prediction based on evidence, and everyone in the room has evidence. That's why the same question gets a unanimous point in one group and a three-way split in another.

06 — FAQMost Likely To: frequently asked questions

What are good most likely to questions?

A good most likely to question describes a specific, slightly embarrassing behavior that at least one person in the room is famous for: who's most likely to leave their phone in the cab, who's most likely to clap when the plane lands, who's most likely to send a 3am voice message they regret by 9am. Vague questions ("who's most likely to be successful?") get polite answers. Specific ones get the whole table pointing at the same person.

How do you play most likely to?

Read a question out loud, count to three, and everyone points at the person they think fits best. Whoever gets pointed at the most takes the penalty. In the Dronk app the phone reads the card, the group votes, and the app reveals who got the most fingers.

Is there a most likely to game app?

Yes. Dronk has a Most Likely To mode with 120 English questions in 4 packs. Pass one iPhone around the table, or host a LIVE room with a 4-digit pin code where up to 16 friends vote from their own phones. The Classics pack is free.

What are good most likely to questions for friends?

For close friends, the Spicy and Crazy packs land hardest because they rely on shared history: who's most likely to have a crush on someone in the room, who's most likely to end up in a cult by Christmas. For a newer group, start with The Classics, where the questions are about personality rather than secrets.

How many players do you need?

Three at minimum, so there's someone to point at besides yourself. Local pass-and-play supports 3 to 20 players; LIVE rooms hold up to 16. The game gets better with size because the vote gets more decisive.

Is most likely to a drinking game?

Many people play it as one, but Dronk doesn't tell you what a penalty is. Your group agrees on it before you start: a dare, a story, a song, a push-up. Everything on this page works with or without alcohol.

What if two people get the same number of votes?

House rule: both take the penalty. Or run a 5-second re-vote between just the two of them. The app shows the full breakdown, so ties are obvious and nobody can quietly claim it was the other person.

Is the app free?

Yes. Dronk is free on the App Store, no account, no ads in the round. The Classics pack (30 questions) is free. Dronk Premium unlocks Funny, Crazy and Spicy plus every pack and category in the other 13 games.
