Terms of Service
These terms apply between you and Dronk for your use of the app and dronkapp.com. Read them carefully — by downloading or using Dronk, you accept them. The original Danish version is available at dronkapp.com/terms.html; in case of discrepancy the Danish version prevails to the extent permitted by law.
About Dronk
Dronk is a pass-and-play party game for iPhone developed by Dronk, Denmark. You can contact us at contact@dronkapp.com.
Acceptance
You accept these Terms the first time you open the app and again every time you make an in-app purchase. If you do not accept the Terms, you may not use the Service.
License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use Dronk on devices you own or control, solely for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, decompile, reverse-engineer or commercially exploit the Service without our written consent.
Age and responsible use
Dronk is age-rated on the App Store. The game may include light drinking themes typical of pre-party culture — you are responsible for playing responsibly and complying with local laws regarding alcohol and party games. We never encourage harmful behaviour.
In-app purchases
What you can buy
Dronk offers two types of paid content:
- Subscription (auto-renewing): grants access to premium content, additional categories and future features for as long as the subscription is active.
- One-time purchases (e.g. category packs or premium features): grants permanent access to the specific content with no recurring charge.
The exact names, durations, prices and what is included are always shown in the app before you confirm the purchase. These details may change over time; changes apply only to future purchases.
Payment and billing
All purchases are processed by Apple via the App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase. Apple may charge applicable VAT or taxes on top of the listed price depending on your country.
- Your subscription automatically renews for the same period and price unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your Apple ID account is charged for the renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
- You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal under Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone after purchase.
- Cancellation of a current subscription is not allowed during the active period. If you turn off auto-renewal, you keep access until the period ends.
- Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited if you purchase a subscription to the same app before the trial expires.
One-time purchases (category packs etc.)
One-time purchases are by default non-consumable: you pay once and keep access permanently across all devices using the same Apple ID. You can always restore prior purchases inside the app via the "Restore Purchases" function.
Refunds and right of withdrawal
Because the Service's digital content is delivered immediately upon purchase and you expressly agree to this at the time of purchase, the EU 14-day right of withdrawal lapses. Refunds are handled exclusively by Apple and must be requested via reportaproblem.apple.com. We have no ability to refund purchases made through the App Store directly. This does not affect your mandatory rights under consumer law.
Price changes
We may change the price of subscriptions from time to time. Changes for existing subscribers take effect only in accordance with Apple's rules and after you have been notified and — where required — consented to the new price.
Content and conduct
Player profiles and game data live on your device. You are responsible for the names and words you enter while playing. Do not use Dronk for harassment, hate speech, illegal content or in any way that violates the rights of others.
Intellectual property
All rights to Dronk — including code, design, word lists, logo and trademarks — belong to Dronk or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. The Terms grant you no ownership of this content.
Third-party services
Dronk uses Apple's StoreKit for purchases and may reference third-party material (e.g. famous people, cities or movies in category word lists) solely for recreational purposes. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by any third party that may appear in the word lists.
Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that it will always be error-free, compatible with future iOS versions or available without interruption. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Dronk's total liability to you — for any cause — is limited to the amount you have paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the loss giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect losses, loss of business, loss of data or unforeseeable damages. This does not limit liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory law.
Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time by deleting the app and — for subscriptions — turning off auto-renewal as described above. We may terminate or suspend your access in case of material misuse of the Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (e.g. intellectual property, limitation of liability) do so.
Changes to the Terms
We may update the Terms from time to time. The latest version is always available at dronkapp.com/en/terms.html. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email (if you have written to us) before they take effect. Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
Governing law and jurisdiction
The Terms are governed by Danish law. Disputes are first sought resolved amicably; if we cannot reach agreement, disputes are settled by the ordinary Danish courts unless mandatory consumer rights provide otherwise. As a consumer you may also use the EU online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
